I'm trying to get more fiber in my diet, and these are terrific. Real food, great taste (better than chocolate caramel variety of these bars which have a few kernels of embedded popcorn which are really inedible). I'm changing my subscribe & save to switch these for the chocolate caramel which I thought were good until I found these.

But I just can't agree with the rave reviews here. Maybe I got a bad box (they don't expire until September though!) or maybe it's because I actually eat real candy and know what it's supposed to taste like.
Either way, these certainly don't taste like candy. They also don't even taste good for a protein bar. I think they taste stale and chalky. The chocolate part is not the offender, I don't think. It's the crunchy part that has a weird taste and a weirder aftertaste.
I will be leaving them out for coworkers to take, because I can't even finish half of the first bar. Although they may have learned their lesson after the box of FiberOne bars I left out for them a few months ago...

I LOVE these! Big, chewy, sweet, and only 170 calories. Good stuff in them too.
